I just spent the entire day reading Tegami Bachi.

OH MY GOD.

kla;sjrkelw;ajrklw;ajrkle;awjrklawr this series. this series. Oh my god why isn't the series done yet WHY ISN'T THE NEW CHAPTER TRANSLATED YET oh my god.

✓ Beautiful setting
✓ Faily cohesive plot that, while not as in-depth and planned as FMA, is loose enough so that anything "filler" fits in nicely (since it's following a delivery service, there's a few missions in there that aren't tied to the main plot, etc.)
✓ Pretty art and style choice
✓ Dogs and giant lizards and walruses OH MY
✓ Adorable main character
✓ Crossdressing in every shape and form
✓ Homosexual undertones
✓ Boobs

OKAY LIKE THERE'S CROSSDRESSING GIRLS EVERYWHERE and the main boy does it once too. It's like, FFVII. But so much gayer.

BASIC PLOT: There's this world with an artificial sun, parts of a country separated by a class system, "letters" (which are more often than not written letters, but can be any package, even people) contain parts of a person's heart. There are giant insects that eat them, they suck. A little boy whose mother has mysteriously been taken away is saved by an attractive delivery boy named Gauche. When the boy reaches 12, he sets out to become a "Letter Bee" (delivery boy) like Gauche. He finds a little monster girl who doesn't wear pants and she becomes his delivery partner. Shit happens. The whole time Lag (the boy) is very gay for Gauche.

TURKEY CAN MAKE THE SOUND OF ONE HAND CLAPPING. HE'S THAT MANLY.

It is. And the first chapter is like, 165 pages :T BUT PAST THAT IT'S PRETTY STANDARD SHIT.

lolol I gave up on D.grayman, there is a point where it gets TOO LONG. FMA I'm still caught up with, and Tegami Bachi is only 29 chapters so far anyway.

omg you haven't seen the beanclam editions? She genderbent like, most of the characters. Her Russia and Canada and Poland oh my god. I'LL UPLOAD THEM TOMORROW OR SOMETHING. dsajklr;eajw I knoooowwwww ;o;

LOLOL yeah I read like, a couple volumes here and there in the store, then I read a lot online, THEN IT GOT TO SOME CRAZY PART WITH ZOMBIES AND I JUST GAVE UP. Crowley was my favorite though >: The FMA manga is pretty kickass since there's a "HOLY SHIT" moment like every chapter. Especially the newer ones where it's basically The Revolution of Amestris with Roy leading it and everyone is storming central and then Roy goes on a homicidal rampage against Envy and YEAH.

I WOULD HOPE SO but omg it's just. So long. I love the story for DGM but I feel like it'll never end. FMA I like because it feels like the plot is going somewhere and it's pretty much getting to the climax of the story .D.b ...Why did you rip him apart :|

GIRL!RUSSIA AND GIRL!PRUSSIA OWN MY HEAAARRRTTTTT I especially like that Prussia has no tits. IT'S FITTING. And the one with Sealand also has Latvia on it who is ADORABLEEEEEEE. I think it has Germany and Italy on it too? idr they're lost in the vast emptiness of my APH folder.
